Father Law Home, Suva

The 'Father Law Home' is haven for over thirty aged citizens of the Fiji Islands. In the care of the Sisters of Our Lady of Nazareth and under the auspices of the St Vincent de Paul Society the Home has been supported by MMC for much-needed refurbishment. Director of the Father Law complex is Sister Xavier, SOLN.

 Torrential rain once used blow into the residents' rooms. Thanks to MMC help roofing extensions have solved the problem.
     


Kitchen facilities were amongst the first to be refurbished with MMC assistance.

 


Repairs to tables, chairs and bathroom facilities have made the Home much more comfortable.
     
 


Residents of Fr Law Home live in simple, clean and comfortable quarters.
 


Target of the next phase of refurbishment is the ageing annex to the Home threatened by an unstable mud bank nearby.
